How is a business line of credit different than a credit card?

Updated this week

Both business lines of credit and credit cards offer revolving credit.

The main difference is how you access funds:

  • A Line of Credit deposits funds directly into your bank account, ideal for ongoing costs like payroll or unexpected repairs.

  • A credit card is used for purchases where the card is accepted, like travel or utilities.
